Paul Amante Jr., SPHR, is a partner at amanteHR with nearly two decades recent experience in HR leadership. Most recently, from 2016 to 2026, he served as a Vice President in the Human Resources division for Irvine Company. During his tenure, he provided leadership in four distinct areas: policy and compliance, employee relations, HR operations, and HR information systems. As a member of the HR leadership team, Paul helped shape the goals and objectives of the division in alignment with the broader company vision.
Immediately prior to his role at Irvine Company, from 2008 to 2016, Paul lead the HR Business Partner function at Canon U.S.A., Inc. for three geographical regions: West (based in Irvine, California), Midwest (based in Chicago, Illinois) and Southwest (based in Irving, Texas). For all three regions, he provided strategic partnership to multiple business lines and channels either directly or through HR Business Partners located in each region. In addition, he provided HR leadership for Canon subsidiary companies and acquisitions situated in these regions. From June, 2007 to the present, Paul has been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). He is also a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA).
